the question i ask is, are you really serious about ballet? do you want to become a professional, or are you doin it for fun? im at an intermidiate lvl and i take six classes a week for about 3 hours each. if you really want to dance then yes four clases is nessesary but if your going for fun, its up to you.

fouette's are harder than they look, and if you learn them on your own, and learn them the wrong way, it can be hard to fix. i would suggest that you work on basic turns and such untill your a really strong turn-er then i'd try my hand and fouette
